Creating Seder: A Free Body Doubling Session

When

Tuesday, February 17, 2026
7:00pm – 8:00pm

Event Type

Body doubling is a focus strategy where simply working alongside another person — even on Zoom — can help you stay on task (note that “seder” is Hebrew for “order.) There’s no coaching, no chatting, no pressure — just the quiet accountability of not being alone. It’s surprisingly powerful if you:

  • easily get distracted
  • struggle to start tasks
  • feel overwhelmed by your to-do list
  • need a gentle nudge to get to long-overdue projects

Here’s how our session will work:

  1. Log on at just before 7:00 pm.
  2. We’ll say a quick hello.
  3. Everyone briefly states the task(s) they’ll be working on.
  4. Then we work quietly together, all on mute.
  5. I’ll be working on my own tasks right alongside you.

That’s it — no discussion, just calm, focused support. At the end of the hour, I will come back on to check in and say goodbye.

Not sure what to work on? Here are some ideas:

  • Pay bills
  • Declutter one drawer or a closet shelf
  • Clean your refrigerator or stove
  • Fold and put away laundry
  • Deal with a pile of papers

Anything that you’ve been putting off! You bring the tasks — I’ll bring the focus. If you’ve never tried body doubling before, this is a perfect low-pressure chance to give it a try.
