Author talk: “Ancestral Dreaming”

When

Sunday, December 14, 2025
2:00pm – 3:30pm

Event Type

“We are the dreams of our ancestors, the future embodiment of their hopes and visions.”

Join Beth El member Yael Linda Schiller for a glimpse into her new book, Ancestral Dreaming: Heal Generational Wounds Through Dreamwork, an illuminating and heartfelt guide that invites you to connect with your ancestral legacies, gifts and blessings and to heal any intergenerational wounds you may have inherited, thereby transforming pain into wisdom and trauma into blessing.

Yael demonstrates that recurring dreams, themes, characters, and landscapes can be an ancestor reaching out. By tapping into the layers of consciousness of our dreams, both those of our sleep and through sleep-adjacent practices such as guided imagery and meditation, we can access this deep personal and collective wisdom.

Please note that many Beth El members have contributed to the book, including a byline by Rabbi Breindel. This session is open to all, in person at Beth El and on Zoom and just in time for Chanukah, there will be books for sale. Sponsored by the Beth El Adult Education Committee.
