Annual Maynard Menorah Lighting

For the sixth year, the Maynard community will gather in Memorial Park to light their 12 foot Menorah — not just as a celebration of Hanukkah, but as a heartfelt moment of unity, hope, and shared light. This year, Rabbi Josh and Cantor Vera will lead the ritual!

Chanukah Sing-Along with Shir El

We’ll light the Beth El outdoor chanukiyah for the 4th night of Chanukah and celebrate with song! Shir El will offer a pair of choral settings of Chanukah songs; and then invite you to join us in a festive singalong. If it’s too stinkin’ cold outside to stay out comfortably, we’ll sing indoors!

Light Up the Sixth Night with Shabbat Rinah!

On this night of six candles, approaching the shortest, darkest day of the year, we welcome Shabbat Chanukah! Come revel in sharing song, the brightness of our community’s warm embrace, and the joy of beloved ritual with Shabbat Chanukah at Beth El, led by the Rinah musicians and Beth El clergy. We will light the Beth El outdoor chanukiyah at 7pm; our Shabbat Chanukah Rinah service begins at 7:30pm.

Pajama Havdalah

PJ Havdalah is a monthly program for folks in their 20s to 40s, with or without kids, who are interested in a friendly, low-key setting to connect with others like them.
