Join us as we experience the spiritual power of brokenness in our observance of Tisha b’Av. This day commemorates the destruction of the ancient Temples in Jerusalem. Together we will hear the devastating words and haunting melody of the scroll of Eichah, the book of Lamentations; share in a powerful evening service; and support one another in the brokenness of the world in our own time. To help guide our meditations during the service, we invite you to bring a broken item from your own home that you love too much to throw away. It’s our hope that this experience will inspire us to confront brokenness wherever we find it, so we may be guided to acts of healing and wholeness. The service will be held in person and livestreamed
