In the Hebrew Bible, Daniel is a man of many aspects: he is a prophet, a hero, a judge, and a magical figure. His book was written at two different times, in two different languages, adding to his mystery. He was a powerful figure who has appeared through the ages, in the medieval play of Daniel, in modern song and dance, and in many artistic renditions. Because he is so powerful, he attracts ancillary stories. This multimedia presentation (Zoom only) by Ruth Breindel (Rabbi Josh’s mother) will touch on Daniel is all his forms and times – truly a story that has resonated for over 2,500 years.
