Tu b’Av songfest — 6:45pm

Tu b’Av (the 15th of Av) is a Jewish day of love, a time for celebrating the lush outdoors and seeking one another’s company. Let’s enjoy the pleasure of shared song for a couple of dreamy summer hours! Led by Cantor Vera Broekhuysen and Cantor Emerita Lorel Zar-Kessler, we’ll sit together, schmooze and sing popular songs of love in English, Hebrew and more. Bring a copy of “Rise Up Singing” if you have it; bring an instrument if you play one; bring something sweet and snacky to share. All are welcome! If weather permits, we’ll be in the Gan Dorot (the Beth El garden).

Grillin’ and Chillin’ will be immediately  followed by the Tu b’Av songfest — please plan on joining us for both events.
