Please enjoy free admission to the American Heritage Museum (568 Main St., Hudson) on Tuesday, Jan. 27 when Rabbi Breindel will lead a ceremony at 11:00 a.m. to mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The museum (listed in National Geographic’s top 10 WWII museums worldwide) includes a Holocaust exhibit centered on a restored century-old German cattle car. Projected on the rear wall is a short video history of the Holocaust, complemented by a virtual-reality presentation of an Auschwitz survivor telling her story, filmed on location in Poland and Ukraine. Beth El members who volunteer as Shoah docents will lead tours of the exhibit, and the museum will be open into the afternoon. To arrange a group evening visit, contact martin@educational-solutions.
