Exploring the Secret Lives of Our Ancestors: Midrash Writing Course

This five-week course offered by Rabbi Josh Breindel and Lisa Batya Feld  will give participants the tools to write Midrash—exploring the untold stories and secret lives of biblical characters. \Our theme is writing on the fringes, giving voice to women and marginalized characters from our tradition. We will dive into biblical sources, ask what’s going on behind the scenes, and imagine possible answers. Participants will also learn the basics of writing and storytelling and have opportunities to workshop their midrashim in a compassionate environment, giving and receiving constructive feedback. All levels welcome!

Class will meet in the library and on Zoom.
