All are invited to a screening of “The Frisco Kid” following havdalah, lighting the chanukiah, and a vegetarian Chinese dinner. Havdalah will start at 6:45 PM, dinner will be at about 7:30 PM, and the movie will start at 8:45 PM.
“The Frisco Kid” is a comedy starring Gene Wilder as a Polish rabbi wandering through the Old West on his way to lead a synagogue in San Francisco. On the way, he is nearly burned at the stake by Native Americans and almost killed by outlaws.
The cost for dinner will be $20–$25, payable in advance to Neil Frieband or at the door. Attendees must register by Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 9 PM to get an accurate head count for ordering food (limit of 50 people; if you don’t RSVP, you can’t eat). Please register even if you aren’t planning to have dinner but want to watch the movie. Click here to register.
