Chanukat HaSTRIP – Dedication of the STRIP Garden

The entire Beth El community is invited to join us for a multigenerational celebration of green gardening! As students gather in classrooms for religious school, adults will gather in the sanctuary for a lively slide show presentation on why transitioning to native gardens is important and some simple practices to get there. The students will join us outside for a formal dedication ceremony and a tour of the green strip between the synagogue and Hudson Road, followed by a team-based scavenger hunt. We’ll discuss our findings after which the students will return to their classrooms and adults will reconvene in the sanctuary for an informal Q&A along with food and schmoozing.
