SUMMARY:Chanukat HaSTRIP – Dedication of the STRIP Garden
DESCRIPTION:The entire Beth El community is invited to join us for a multig
 enerational celebration of green gardening! As students gather in classroo
 ms for religious school\, adults will gather in the sanctuary for a lively
  slide show presentation on why transitioning to native gardens is importa
 nt and some simple practices to get there. The students will join us outsi
 de for a formal dedication ceremony and a tour of the green strip between 
 the synagogue and Hudson Road\, followed by a team-based scavenger hunt. W
 e’ll discuss our findings after which the students will return to their 
 classrooms and adults will reconvene in the sanctuary for an informal Q&am
 p\;A along with food and schmoozing.
