Beth El members are creative, thoughtful, and articulate about all sorts of things — so this blog shares our feelings and opinions about our synagogue, Judaism, current events, the arts, and more. Current and former congregants and students, clergy, faculty, and staff are invited to submit written pieces as well as photography, audio, video, etc. All subjects are welcome, though the material should be pertinent to members and friends of a liberal, inclusive American synagogue. Please limit text pieces to 1,000 words. We edit all submissions, and we reserve the right to withhold pieces that we find offensive or simply not appropriate (remember, our audience includes children).
Email submissions and questions to awaugh178@gmail.com. We can’t accept anonymous work, so please include your name, email address, town, and Beth El affiliation. Like many things at Beth El, our blog is a labor of love staffed by volunteers. If you’d like to help or if you have any questions, please contact us.
