Join in a discussion of the story of the 40 year relationship of Gertrude Stein and Alice Toklas, including how two Jewish women were able to survive World War II in a French château with the help of a Vichy collaborator. The discussion will be lead by Rosie Rosenzweig, Beth El member, author, poet and scholar is a resident scholar at Brandeis University’s Women’s Studies Research Center, studying creativity, Jewish feminism, and meditation.
