Beth El is excited to offer many opportunities for friendship, fun, and learning all year round.
Please click here to register adults and kids for services and activities, including babysitting. For the full schedule of services and other information on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, see our Details on High Holidays page.
Babysitting for children ages 0-5 will be available from 9:30am–12:30pm on Rosh Hashanah and from 9:30am–1:15pm on Yom Kippur. Please sign up your children when filling out the High Holidays registration page.
Families are invited to help decorate Beth El’s sukkah on Sunday, October 13 (time TBA) along with Rabbi Josh and Cantor Vera. We’ll provide all the art supplies and other materials!
On the first Friday evening of every month, we have a family-friendly service starting at 5:30pm. Next First Friday is September 6 – RSVP here.
Beth El offers a 50% discount and free membership for kids in grades preK-12 and their families during their first year at Beth El! Click here to register for school.
It all starts with BEginnings, our a once-a-month introduction to Jewish education for families with children 0-5 years old. Each morning includes a light bagel breakfast, and kehilla (community) time, followed by parallel child and parent programming. Advance registration is required; click here to register for the first session on September 15 from 8:45–10:30am. For more information, email beginnings@bethelsudbury.org.
BE InSpirED is our program for children in grades K-7, which takes them up through b’nai mitzvah. Along the way, families go through other life cycle events together such as Hanukkat Banim and Siyyum HaSefer.
Students continue their connection with Jewish teens at Beth El and other area synagogues through J-LOFT (Jewish Learning Opportunities for Teens) led by Beth El Director of Education Shoni Aronovich. This includes weekly meetings (with dinner!), service trips, and a weeklong subsidized exchange program with a high school in Haifa called HiBuR. Finally, there’s Siyyum, a ceremony coinciding with their high school graduation.
