DESCRIPTION:We all want to fulfill the crucial mitzvah of&nbsp\;tzedakah. R
 esources are finite and with the added stress of Israel’s immediate need
 \, other key issues remain. These issues become more important because the
 y don’t have the urgency that war does. Since resources that go to one o
 rganization cannot be donated elsewhere\, how can we know where to give?\n
 \nJoin Beth El's Tzedakah Hevra online (click here for Zoom link) to hear 
 from representatives of three organizations to learn about their missions\
 , values\, directions\, and what they do with our donations:\n\n 	JFS (Jew
 ish Family Services of MetroWest) – Accelerating Social\, Academic and H
 ealth Equity\n 	Mazon – A Jewish Response to Hunger\n 	Keshet – For LG
 BTQ Equality in Jewish Life\n\nThe Tzedakah Hevra is a group of Beth El me
 mbers who come together and make collective decisions about how to distrib
 ute our pooled tzedakah contributions. We collaboratively develop a roster
  of Jewish organizations locally\, nationally\, internationally\, and with
 in Israel to whom we provide monetary support. We continuously discuss iss
 ues and grapple with questions related to philanthropy.\nThis program is p
 resented by the Beth El Adult Ed Committee in conjunction with the Beth El
