DESCRIPTION:As Passover draws near\, join an out-of-this-world evening with
  Beth El's Rabbi Josh\, the "Sci-Fi Rabbi\," at the Lehrhaus (425 Washingt
 on St.\, Somerville). The class will begin with a close and dramatic readi
 ng of a classic Isaac Asimov robot story that contrasts the ancient text o
 f the Exodus with modern themes\, including the ethics (and perils) of AI.
  We will also explore a contemporary short story on Passover’s evolving 
 rituals as humanity reaches for the stars. Be sure to bring your own ways

 e rabbi of Congregation Beth El of the Sudbury River Valley. He holds mast
 er's degrees in Jewish Studies and Jewish Education from Hebrew College\,
