DESCRIPTION:Under the Same Moon (UTSM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizatio
 n that helps support a preK-8 school\, Bendición de Dios (BdD) in Alotena
 ngo\, Guatemala. BdD educates about 500 children\, most of whom cannot aff
 ord the $300 in annual costs needed to attend the "public" schools there. 
 More students are receiving scholarships and graduating with meaningful jo

 k.\n&nbsp\;\nBeth El raises money for UTSM by collecting donations and sel
 ling handcrafted items made by indigenous artisans\, as well as locally so
 urced Guatemalan coffee from Dean's Beans. Ten percent of proceeds from th
 is Mitzvah Mall will be donated to Congregation Beth El. You can purchase 
 UTSM items online\, though the selection will not be as good as the in-per
 son event at Beth El.
