DESCRIPTION:One in five adults experiences a mental health condition each y
 ear. "In Our Own Voice" is a powerful presentation that aims to change att
 itudes\, assumptions and stereotypes about people living with mental healt
 h conditions.\n\nTwo trained presenters with lived experience of a mental 
 health condition will talk openly about their experiences and how they hav
 e found pathways to hope and healing. Audience members have the opportunit
 y to ask questions\, learn more about mental health and challenge misconce
 ptions.\n\nThe presentation is hosted by the Inclusion Committee of Congre
 gation Beth El in collaboration with the National Alliance on Mental Illne
