SUMMARY:Haimish "Homey" Shabbat
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a haimish (“homey”) and creative Shabbat evenin
 g. Starting at 7:00pm\, we’ll come together with our clergy to light can
 dles\, make kiddush and motzi (blessings over the fruit of the vine and br
 ead)\, and share a potluck Shabbat meal complete with warm conversation an
 d Shabbat song.\n\nThis will be an innovative service experience — while
  we won’t stick strictly to the liturgy\, there will be an opportunity t
 o say kaddish yatom (the Mourner’s Kaddish) at the conclusion of the eve
 ning. Remote participants will be hosted at a virtual “Shabbos table” 
 for a lightly facilitated online dinner conversation\, after which we will
  unite (hybrid-style) for songs and prayers. For those joining us in the s
 anctuary\, bring your own candlesticks from home\, if you wish\, to increa
 se our Shabbat light.\n\nPlease sign up if you plan to come\, so that we c
