  learning experience in which a community of people interested in a partic
 ular topic come together after reading a selected book. It's expected that
  each person brings with them a variety of background experiences\, prior 
 or no prior knowledge on the topic\, and a breadth and depth of perspectiv
 es. The community members discuss what they learned and they use guiding q
 uestions to keep the discussion purposeful and productive. A learning oppo
 rtunity like this fits nicely with Beth El's antiracism resolution. Please
