SUMMARY:Celebration of Ashira Stevens’s rabbinic ordination
DESCRIPTION:After services on June 10\, join us for a kiddush lunch followe
 d by Ashira’s presentation of her capstone project\, culminating her fiv
 e-year rabbinic training at Hebrew College. Her project is entitled "Relat
 ionship Wisdom: A Zentangle-inspired Visual Journey through Shir HaShirim 
 (Song of Songs)." It explores insights we can glean from this sacred text 
 about relationships between people\, between people and the Divine\, and b
 etween people and sacred text. Ashira has created visual representations o
 f the conversation between selected verses of Shir HaShirim and their corr
 esponding midrashim in Shir HaShirim Rabbah using the meditative art form 
 of Zentangle. After the talk\, you will have the opportunity to browse the
  meditative art\, samples of which are shown below. The art and their expl
 anatory text will be moved to the Beth El loft\, where they will remain an
