Religious School Shabbat Morning Services
The newest part of our Religious School for students in grades 3-6:
Welcome to our new a once- a- month student led Shabbat service. It is an important new part of the Hebrew School prayer curriculum. In addition to practicing their prayer and leadership skills, our students will be engaging in a variety of kid-friendly Shabbat activities including:
- singing
- bibliodrama
- stories
- interactive activities
- yoga
- crafts
- and some special Shabbat treats and surprises!
Hal Miller-Jacobs will be our guest Bibliodrama Torah leader, and Rabbi Spicehandler and Ben Mazur will guide our student leaders along with a team of enthusiastic teen volunteers. Religious School Shabbat Morning service will take place once a month on Shabbat morning in the Kolel during the time of our regular community Shabbat service. Parents are encouraged to go to the Shabbat service in the sanctuary. We will all meet up together for Kiddush after the service.
