Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong grounding in Jewish values, liturgy, culture, theology, and history. Each year the curriculum covers primary topics to which reinforcement of skills and supplemental activities are added. Our philosophy is to use interactive, engaging teaching practices and to relate material to students through discussions and thought-provoking activities. Students teach and learn from each other and synthesize their Religious School experience into their own lives. All school activities are grounded in a sense of community, connectedness, and a joy of learning.

Being a new member, I was surprised at how friendly everyone is at Beth El. People just walked up and introduced themselves to me as if welcoming me into their own home.
