Parent Orientation 2011

Religious School Parent Orientations

Grades K-6: Sunday September 18, 8:30-11:00

Grades 8-12:  Monday September 19, 5:45-8:30

Grades 7:  Thursday September 22, 4:00-6:00

Please join us for our annual parent orientations.  Sit in on classes, hear about the plans for the year and meet with Rabbi Judy.

Schedule:

Grades K-6 (September 18):

8:30-9:00 Bagel Brunch

9:00 Parents accompany children to class (grade five will split the time between the two classes)

10:00 Join Rabbi Judy and senior staff for an adult discussion in the Sanctuary. Find out about the new Religious School Shabbat Morning Service, and other new programs.

Grade 8-12 (September 19):

5:45-6:30 Dinner with students and parents hosted by the Religious Education Committee

6:30-7:30 Parents join their students in their classes

7:30 -8:30

We gather in the Sanctuary to hear about the new Chai School and the Chai Program., and WASTY highlights.

Grade7 (September 22)

4:00 Parents go with students to class

5:00 Parent Orientation with Rabbi Judy in the Sanctuary

5:30 S.T.O.P. Presentation
