Enrollment Process

Priority enrollment for children currently enrolled in the preschool, siblings of Beth El Preschool attendees (past and present) and members of Congregation Beth El will take place until November 30th.  Beginning December 1st, enrollment will be open to everyone.

See Programs and Hours for a list and schedule of classes and programs for different ages.

We will do our best to honor your first choice option for the 3-day 3-year old classes based on availability.  If you have special requirements regarding days, please contact Roanne Miller.  All classes will have 2 educators (a lead teacher and an assistant or 2 co-teachers).

Children will be placed in classes at the discretion of the Director with input from the teachers to create the most equitable classroom groupings.  Meeting the needs of each family, as well as the preschool, is a priority.

A non-refundable registration fee of $50 and non-refundable tuition deposit of $350 are required with your tuition contract in order to register.

In the event that registrations exceed the number of slots available in the class, the following priority will be used on December 1st to form the classes and waiting list:

  1. Congregation Beth El Members
  2. Currently enrolled, returning students, including Yad b’Yad (Mom and Tot) Program
  3. Siblings of Beth El Preschool attendees (past and present)
  4. New students

A lottery system will be employed as needed within the above priority scheme.  Registration fee and tuition deposit will be returned to those families whose children are placed on the waiting list.

Please contact our Director, Roanne Miller, for an enrollment application.

In busy Boston, where it can takes weeks to make an appointment to see a friend, Beth El is an oasis where, when I make the effort, I find community, friendship, meaning and a Jewish home for my family.
