Hevra Mishpacha

The Hevra Mischpacha, or Caring Community, serves as an extended family within the congregation who helps congregants during times of personal crisis. Hevra Mischpacha volunteers provide a range of support, from meals, rides, visits and phone calls, to helping people create confidential support networks for themselves or a friend (for example, identifying a congregant who has been through a similar experience and can provide a sympathetic ear).

Volunteers are needed for the Hevra Mishpacha. Please contact the office if you can make a meal drive a needing congregant to an appointment, or provide other support.

The opportunities for adult study are exceptional. I had a wonderful opportunity to study Torah for my adult Bat Mitzvah. Now my daughters are experiencing their own Bat Mitzvah and I am fully able to appreciate their journey.
