Interfaith Outreach

We welcome the interfaith community to Beth El. A significant portion of our membership are interfaith families or are individuals or couples in interfaith relationships. We recognize and support the special needs and considerations of these members. At Beth El, we welcome the participation of our members who come from other traditions and we honor their contribution to our rich and diverse community. It is not unusual to find a member from other traditions speaking out as active participants at an adult learning program with our Rabbi or Cantor and we appreciate their perspective. We strive to help all our members feel comfortable being active participants in synagogue life while recognizing that there are some who are here only to support their Jewish partners and children. We are also here to support our Jewish members whose children are in interfaith relationships.
