Caring Community

The Caring Community committee helps serve as extended family within the congregation to help congregants during times of personal crisis. Caring Community volunteers provide a wide range of support, from meals, rides, visits and phone calls, to helping people create confidential support networks for themselves or a friend (i.e., identification of a congregant who has been through a similar crisis and can provide a listening ear). The committee is working on developing a database of congregants willing to help others, and a directory of community resources.
