Beth Elders/Mid-Lifers

Every temple can benefit from a little more wisdom, drawn from life’s experience and mixed with a few laughs. At Beth El we have the Beth Elders/Mid-Lifers. They are experts on life, full of opinions which they willingly share. Furthermore, they have perfected the art of the schmooze.
Our own Beth Elders/Mid-Lifers is a group of adult congregational members who gather together on a regular basis for programs and activities usually preceded by a pot luck buffet. The group has no age limitations.
Programs, which usually have some Jewish relevance or content, vary from singing groups, lectures, panel discussions, book talks, video presentations, and award-winning films. Beth Elders/Mid-Lifers also may attend programs of Jewish interest in the Metrowest area. All congregants are welcome to participate in these activities.
Group members are an important presence at many congregation events including religious services and holiday celebrations. It is also not a secret that among the Beth Elders/Mid-Lifers are a number of excellent cooks and bakers whose creations enhance Beth El receptions. For information, contact people are Edna Nichols and Dan Brown.
