Torah / Learning

Learn with us as we study Jewish life and thought in classes taught by the Beth El rabbi, cantor, Jewish educators, congregants, and visiting scholars. We are a community of learners of all ages and religious backgrounds. No previous knowledge required - just an eagerness to learn!

Through the Beth El Preschool and Early Childhood Education programs parents are encouraged to learn alongside their toddlers.

Beth El's highly regarded religious education program begins with Hanukat Banim (consecration of our kindergartners) and contiues through the teenage years with our Junior and Senior High School classes.

Siyyum, the cermony that marks high school graduation, is both a culmination of study and a community celebration.

Wherever you are in your spirtual journey and whatever your interest, there are adult and family learning opportunities throughout the year.

Avodah / Prayer

Daven (pray) with us around a Shabbat table on Friday nights. Grab a bagel and a cup of coffee and join our lively Torah discussions Saturday mornings beginning at 9:00am. Services follow at 10:30am - and all are welcome.

Our participatory services are filled with music and song. Our Thursday morning minyan at 7:00am is an intimate and reflective way to start the day.

Children are always welcome at services or at special Shabbat Gan (activities for toddlers through 1st grade) or Kehillat Noar (youth services for grades 2 through 6).

Gemilat Hasidim / Acts of Loving Kindness

We are a warm, caring Jewish community whose focus is on acts of loving kindness. Our community includes many active, involved, traditional, nontraditional, and interfaith families as well as single individuals.

At Beth El, we take our Tikkun Olam (repair the world) obligations seriously through many social justice activities, addressing issues at the local, national, and international levels.
